CocoaMo whisky mac bon bon

    Inspired by her Grandfather Percy (pictured), a soldier in the British Army during the 1939-1945 conflict, Melanie designed a bon bon after his favourite drink, the "whisky mac".

    Each bon bon will contain a whisky ganache, with a single piece of confit ginger inside. Decorated with another piece of confit ginger, and encased in dark 70% chocolate from Amedei of Tuscany.

    These bon bon will now be available every Winter in our online store, and  donations from sales will also go to The Royal British Legion every year.

    In keeping with our Limited Edition ethos, the whisky used to make these bon bon will change every Winter, along with the second charity. This year we have chosen Poppy Scotland.

    Melanie has chosen Asaki whisky. A Japanese blend from Osaka, and a family run Eigashima distillery. Matured in sherry casks, the whisky has notes of toasty oak, vanilla, nuts and citrus.

    A percentage of the proceeds will go to The Royal British Legion (of which her Grandfather was a president of his local branch in Manchester), and Poppy Scotland.

    Milk chocolate 35% - Amedei of Tuscany (cane sugar, cacao butter, whole milk powder, vanilla), cream - from cows milk, organic Argyll honey, Asaki whisky, dark chocolate 70% - Amedei of Tuscany (cocoa mass, cane sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla), confit organic ginger.
